MyLuckyPath is a free numerology tool. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to your information when you use it.
The Life Path Number calculator
The calculator on our homepage runs entirely in your browser. When you enter a birth date and click “Calculate,” the math happens on your device using JavaScript — the date never leaves your browser, and we never see it, store it, or send it anywhere. Refresh the page and the result is gone. There’s no database of birth dates on our end, because we never collect one in the first place.
What we collect
We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) on this site for basic web analytics — the kind of general traffic patterns most sites track, like how many people visit, which pages they land on, and how they move around the site.
Some tools on the site, like our compatibility calculators, also send anonymous usage events through GTM to Google Analytics — for example, which relationship type or gender option someone picks. These events record the choice itself, not the person making it: names, birth dates, and anything else you type into a calculator stay in your browser and are never included, for the same reason described above. If we add similar events to other tools down the line, they’ll follow this same rule.
Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: things like IP address, browser type, and which pages were requested. That’s normal and automatic, and it’s used only to keep the site running securely — spotting abuse, debugging errors — not to build a profile of individual visitors.
We don’t sell any data to advertisers, and beyond the aggregate analytics described above, we don’t build detailed profiles of individual visitors.
Third-party services
The site is self-hosted on shared infrastructure, and fonts are served from our own domain instead of a third-party CDN — one less outside connection every time a page loads. Google Tag Manager, described above, is the one outside service currently loaded on every page.
If a future version of MyLuckyPath adds another feature that involves a third party — an email newsletter, for instance — we’ll describe exactly what’s shared and why, right here, before it happens.
Children’s privacy
MyLuckyPath isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone, regardless of age. As above: we don’t collect birth dates or any other personal data at all.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle data ever changes, we’ll update this page and adjust the date at the top. We won’t be emailing you about it, since we don’t have your email — checking back here is the only way to know what’s current.
